The bowlers had been surprisingly effective in the shortest format of cricket. In the initial stages of Twenty20 cricket, the shortest format of cricket was believed to be a batsman's game and bowlers were just adding to the numbers. That belief is changing now and the bowlers are getting as much importance as the batsmen get. Particularly of interest is the success of spinners in T20 format. Every team is almost playing two spinners in their line-up, which was not even seen in the 50 overs format.

AT and Amit Shanbhag: Let me first of all clarify that I am not Dhoni. This blog is dedicated to Dhoni, but has no connections to Dhoni. I am a fan of Dhoni.
ReplyDeleteComing back to the blames on Dhoni, let us put a stop to this. Dhoni has led India to many success in the last couple of years. ICC World Twenty20 2007, VB Series, Test series against Australia, England and New Zealand, One-day series against Sri Lanka, England and New Zealand. We all had been happy. But, when someone fails, we put him down below our shoes.
Cricket is a game of sport and there will always be a winner and loser. India cannot always win. Let us forget and move on. Thanks for your comments.
