Chanderpaul moved ahead of Sir Viv Richards to take the second spot in the list of most runs in test matches for West Indies. Chanderpaul has accumulated 8547 runs in 121 test matches. Viv Richards also took the same number of matches to score 8540 runs, but he needed only 182 innings compared to Chanderpaul's 206.
