Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya became the second cricketer to cross 13,000 runs in ODI cricket. Jayasuriya achieved the feat in the 14th over bowled by Ishant Sharma during the first ODI cricket match between India and Sri Lanka played at Rangiri Dambulla International stadium in Sri Lanka on 28 January 2009.
