The Asians once again amassed 300+ total in this series, with good contributions from every batsman in the top order. Ganguly, Sehwag and Mohammad Yousuf made half-centuries. Yuvraj Singh played a cameo at the end, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes from just 13 balls. Ganguly's steady 88 helped the Asia XI to post a mammoth total of 337 for the loss of 7 wickets.
The Africans once again fell short of 31 runs leaving the Asian XI winners of the second edition of the Afro-Asian Cup. The last match is yet to be played on 10th of June. The Africans gave a fight by replying with a 300+ score mainly due to half-centuries from Dippenaar and Mark Boucher.
