India won by 5 wickets (with 21 balls remaining) and level the 4-match ODI series 1-1. The first match of the series was abandoned. Zaheer Khan won the man of the match award for his 5 for 42 spell.
Dhoni played a great controlled innings. Walking in at a precarious position of 94-4, he paved the way for the victory with a 133 run partnership with skipper Rahul Dravid. Dravid achieved a personal milestone during the course of his 66, becoming only the sixth batsman to cross 10000 ODI runs.
