Sachin Tendulkar, the little master from India, holds the record for most runs in test match cricket. Sachin Tendulkar has accumulated more than 12,000 runs in a career spanning for two decades. Sachin Tendulkar recently surpassed the record held by Brian Lara of West Indies. The close competitor to Sachin Tendulkar is Australian captain Ricky Ponting, who is closing in on 11,000 runs in test cricket.
